Kinetic Silver Drop Spindle
This is a sweet little kinetic sculpture that all spinners will recognize! Modeled from a drop spindle, the pendant will hang at full extension and collapse when gently pressed against a hard surface to produce a two-ply “yarn”!
This piece is sculpted entirely from 0.925 sterling silver. The “yarn” that it hangs from is 20 gauge wire, so it is a bit more delicate than most Idle Talons products. Care will need to be taken to ensure that the wire doesn’t bend, preventing the drop spindle action.
Spindle will come on a cord and can be worn as a necklace or hung as a decoration! Measures about 9.8 cm long at full extension and the base is about 1.2 cm in diameter.
