Each of these stone leaves is rough cut into its unique shape, then ground and polished to domed shiny perfection. A small hand-filed score at the tip of each leaf ensures the surrounding wires stay in place. The stems and veins are sculpted from copper or 0.925 sterling silver wire and solder, pickled to cleanse them of any torch scorches, and secured to the intended leaf. Copper is dipped in liver of sulphur until oxidized dark, and both copper and silver are finally polished to gleaming.

This is such an organic, elegant design— said by one customer to be a pendant any hobbit would be proud to receive from Galadriel!

Each leaf is unique and named for the stone from which it was cut. (Random note: applegate jade often appears quite dark, but is a deep green stone and can be remarkably translucent when back-lit!)
